Hook #3
He had always intended to come back, to see the island. Again. But the
opportunity had never quite presented itself. One of my favorite books and movies. Summer of '42 - Herman Raucher
Not sure about this one. The 'again' is kinda useless. It's implied in the first sentence. Something about the second sentence is rather final. It's not quite THERE...lead me on. Hint at something that happened that made the narrator not go back. Murder? Intrigue!? Bad Eggs? Lack of opportunity is like saying he missed the ferry. Meh.
