It's finally here! Time for anyone and everyone who wants help with their query to submit them for critiques. Here's how it will work.
1. Send your query to unicornbellsubmissions@gmail.com in the body of the email. No attachments please.
2. Put "Query Workshop" and the name of your book in the subject line.
3. Place and fill out the following at the top of your entry:
Title:
Genre:
Name: (if you don't want your name listed on the post please note it in the email)
All the entries will go up tomorrow (Tuesday). Please come and offer constructive criticism on the other queries.
If you wish to submit a revised query after receiving feedback, follow the above steps and just put in "Revision 1" or whatever revision it is. I will add those to the top of your post already up for more comments.
Good luck everyone and let's get to work!

Ugh, lost count of how many versions I've done. My current one must be number five. Or is it six now? I dunno anymore.
Okay, I've had my cursor over the send button for ages ... *steeling self* ... Sent!
Ooog. Butterflies in the tummy. Just know I'm gonna spend all Wednesday like this now.
Really looking forward to this part :) Wish I was further along and could join in the madness. But I'll still learn a lot!
Woot! I'm going to check email now!
Alicia, we'll get to you when your ready. Right?
Oh, boy! Time for query version 93 to make its debut! Sending...NOW! :)
I can't wait to read some of these!
I'm reading them as I schedule the post, and man oh man! It always amazes me how varied our imaginations are. There are several books in here I would pick up and read.
Are we allowed only one entry, or can we submit two?
Oh wow! This looks amazing!!! So much is going on here:) You all are awesome for doing this!
I'm so excited to read the entries!
My MS's first draft is completed and I'm starting on the edits. Chapter one is done. I'm just wondering if it is too pre-mature for me to submit or should I go for it?
Oops, never mind... just saw the rules.
Hey queries are easy! They're only the most important 200 word paragraphs you'll ever write, the chance to wow an agent or editor, introduce them to yourself - a total stranger - and make a good impression.
No worries! *tongue in cheek*
Bring on the query madness!! :)
Where are 'The Rules' posted. I may be ahead of myself too.
You bet your sweet potootie! :) (Can I say that on the interwebs??)
I think this will be a lot of fun, and hopefully will help a lot of people refine their queries, too!
This was posted yesterday by Bell: "I wanted you to know that for the workshop round everyone is welcome to submit a query for critique. Even if your manuscript is unfinished! Don't miss this chance to get your query moving in the right direction."
For this critiquing round send away! I think we can handle two.
I'll have to confer with my teammates about the final round with the judges. My initial thought is just one. I'll let you know.
Awe, thanks Deana!
Yes, thank you Amathenia! Anyone and everyone can submit this week for critiquing. So send away Melanie!
For this week, there aren't really any rules, but next week we want finished and polished manuscripts only--so it's worth our judges time.
Ah! Don't say that! I could easily send another three! No, no. Best I focus on one at a time.
Will not submit another. Will not submit another. Will not submit another ...
OH great! ok !
Huh. They're not even up yet and I've been tweaking. Do you think I should send the tweaked version now? Or should I wait for some feedback?
Just popping by with another question. What is the time deadline for this? Midnight PST? *grin* I'm working feverishly on mine but I now have to do my secular job for a while. I'm hoping to submit it later tonight, so hoping "Monday" means till midnight. Thanks.
