At the heart of much speculative fiction (and fiction in general) is a question. What if? Occasionally, I like to throw one out there and see what you make of it. Do with it as you please. If a for-instance is not specified, feel free to interpret that instance as you wish. And if you find this becomes a novel-length answer, I'd appreciate a thank you in the acknowledgements ;)
What if everything you do had to be scrutinized by a "panel of experts"? (Kind of like being a teenage girl. Or being on a reality show. Or being a presidential candidate.)
Today's A to Z Challenge post brought to you by the letter...

I'm afraid I'd be in big trouble and extremely paranoid.

The idea of being scrutinized makes me shudder. Seriously.

I hope you are having a lovely day!
I've been a juror and I have participated in juried exhibitions. It's not a big deal. It's an excellent way of tailoring and tweaking, so there's just the right mix in the event, show, reading, or whatever.
That would be hellish, or North Korea perhaps...
Yeah, Kathleen, I hear ya.
It was kind of a horror question, Darla.
Stephanie, but what if *everything* you did was juried? Not just an art project (which is good to have critiqued) or whatever.
I think the panel of experts would throw up their hands in horror if judging me! lol Are you seriously doing TWO blogs for this challenge? OMG I can barely keep up with one! I've been to both now. I like the idea of the questions to engage folks.

Sharon--I'm only doing one, really. This one has 8 moderators. We divied up the month, and today is my day. (My next day is R.)
I'd probably do nothing. Ever. I'd sit at home like a blob. LOL
