Actually, the book looks a lot worse. Tape holds it together, the back is stained, and a good sneeze while reading it would blow it apart.

But 'poor book'? Um no.

"Much Loved" book :)

My copy of Foundation's Edge is sans cover :( But I still love it and the rest of the series! And yes! Your copy of The Fellowship is definitely much loved. Mine look quite similar :)

I like the first First Lord's Fury cover, the symbol is neat and looks like some interesting stuff goes on within the book. The title works, too. The second cover reminds me too much of the movie Gladiator. :P

Can't say I'm a fan of blank white backgrounds on covers, tho.
