So I think what we're going to do is write a collaborative story together for publication!
Nice job again yesterday!
Today...switching of the genre...
The massive yellow rocket-bus powered down slowly as it eased into the airlock. All 42 kids jumped up and started to gather their bags. They had been planning for this trip for years. And finally a space had become available."Everyone! Quick! Look out the view ports! You won't believe it..."

Slow moving figures shambled around the corner of the rocketbus. Clouded eyes and stained, shredded clothes labeled them immediately.
"Zombies," the teacher said cheerfully.
Against the backdrop of stars, a pod of three spaceships turned to present their broadsides to the station. Emblazoned on their hulls in bright green laser light were animated skull-and-crossbones -- and their gun turrets were trained squarely on the station. Including the hapless rocket bus.
"Pirates and zombies!" Fourteen-year old Nick fist pumped the air. "Best field trip ever."
He dug around in his backpack until he found a laser pistol and pack of gum.
"Wait for me," his twelve-year old brother followed close behind.
"Watch and learn little bro." Nick stepped off the bus and...
The shot came before he had a chance to fire. The sharp pain was nothing like the simulations at school. At the sight of his own blood, Nick risked barfing the two energy bars he stole from his brother's pack.
"I've been shot! I've been shot!" Nick cried out as he held his arm hoping to stem the red fluid oozing on his top.
He realises his classmates are all uncannily quiet and when he turns to look at them they all burst out laughing.
