Isn't it great to know that there are wonderful people out there as agents. Real people even that like Rice Krispie treats and chocolate chip cookies. Super nice people that love to read for the sake of a well written phrase or well developed character.
Let these agents give you hope that there is an agent, editor, or reader out there waiting to hear from YOU!
And along those notes...
We had several requests for partials or fulls handed out during QueryCon this year.
Have any of you heard back yet?
I know it's still too early for contracts to be signed, but give us a clue if things are still looking good. We'd love to know and celebrate with you.
My full is out, still waiting to hear back. :-)
ReplyDeleteI liked getting to know these agents better :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed for you Katie!
ReplyDeleteI commented on two agent interviews but neither of my questions were answered during agent week. Is there a reason for that?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Charity! I'm keeping mine crossed too!
ReplyDeleteMy full got a rejection. Still a great experience!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that Kara. Don't give up though, keeping looking for the agent that loves your story. At least you know you've got a good query to catch their eye.
ReplyDeleteSheena-kay, sorry they weren't answered. My guess is they didn't check their posts again after the first day when it was so quiet on here. I'll see if I can get answers for you.
ReplyDeleteAh rats, Kara. I loved your NA. Once again, this proves the term 'subjective' is alive and well in our business.
ReplyDeleteLet use know if you find a publisher or agent for She Flies with her own Wings. I'd love to know when (not if!) it happens.
Cheers!
Thanks you guys! Love the Unicorn Bell team.
ReplyDeleteMy full is still out also and I'm waiting to hear back. Keep your fingers crossed!
