Some of my favorite writerly lessons have come from Stephen King. Today, I'm going to share a YouTube video with you. However, today I'm going to share a great synopsis of what is in his book On Writing.

ReplyDeleteOn Writing remains my favorite book on writing. I loved the whole thing, but I really liked the part at the end where he walked the reader through his revision process. I found that very helpful.

ReplyDeleteON WRITING is one of the best books on the subject ever written. King is a genius and a very admirable person. I also love Ray Bradbury's book ZEN AND THE ART OF WRITING.

ReplyDeleteI've never read anything my Stephen King, though I tried several times, and each time gave up after the first 3 chapters. But I have been great interested in his book "On Writing".

So many people have recommended On Writing, even people that don't care for Stephen King's books and have a totally different writing style, but I have yet to read it. Still on my must-read list!
