This was one of the books I read because of hype. The opening has great setting, but I didn't get hooked until chapter 2. Then I couldn't stop reading until I finished the last book.

DeleteHA! Yup. One of the few books I read from peer pressure. And I was recovering from surgery. Quite good though.
