The woman is in labor and yelling, "Can't! Wouldn't! Don't!"

The hubby was shaken until the nurse said, "oh, don't worry. It's only her contractions."
Huntresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08155372788872245758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-73064217643651073102013-05-25T07:38:04.002-05:002013-05-25T07:38:04.002-05:00I've learned a new word today!I've learned a new word today!Lizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16170701034715108039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-25603486459936222802013-05-24T18:46:31.168-05:002013-05-24T18:46:31.168-05:00Defenestration. It went along the lines of:
Woman: I defenestrated him.
Knight: That's a horrible thing to do to a man!
Woman: What? Throw him out the window?
Knight: Oh, is that what it means.

Me: ^_^

Then there's refenestration, which I believe is: the act of throwing something previously defenestrated back through said window.

I used defenestrated in my last wip, sadly, I've found no use for refenestration.Aldrea Alienhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05652344290376563676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-38471158908469436262013-05-24T18:09:06.227-05:002013-05-24T18:09:06.227-05:00Defenestration was a word I did not know. I really pay attention now, as I got traumatized in college. I said "explore" when I asked a girl if she could take my cafeteria tray for me, loud enough for the surrounding tables to hear. She crossed her arms in front of her and said, "not here, later," and I had people laughing at me for a week.Patchihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09097638657085263738noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-18070305022872880972013-05-24T16:21:50.886-05:002013-05-24T16:21:50.886-05:00Today, I was emailing someone about a piece of my ...Today, I was emailing someone about a piece of my writing that she said needed to be "fleshed out." Then, I second guessed myself and wondered if it was "fleshed out" or "flushed out." I looked it up: it's "fleshed out."
