I enjoy the way it all flows. I have a good sense of what the scene is and how things "feel".

Nice job!Charity Bradfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01960821077619680661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-49962260530495620902011-09-28T14:22:55.609-05:002011-09-28T14:22:55.609-05:00I freakin’ love this.
My notes:
Hard fantasy is...I freakin’ love this.
My notes:

Hard fantasy is another sub-genre of fantasy. Example: The Magic of Recluse by LE Modesitt.
First paragraph: Excellent scene descriptions.

Fourth paragraph: I must respectfully disagree with my compatriot. This IS needed. I ‘hear’ the scene as well as ‘see’ it.

Fifth: “being woken” is a passive phrase and feels clumsy. Can you edit please?

Summary: Excellent scene setups. Excellent tension. Excellent world building. And, Wow. Nuff said.Huntresshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08155372788872245758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4393512822627120580.post-55774393967690767432011-09-28T07:17:53.120-05:002011-09-28T07:17:53.120-05:00Hard fantasy is like Lord of the Rings and Terry B...Hard fantasy is like Lord of the Rings and Terry Brooks type books.
