School's In Query Contest Schedule

Are you excited? We are! It's finally time to start our August Query Extravaganza with our School's In Query Contest.

This first week is a mini conference of sorts devoted to the query letter. What it is, why you need one, how to write one, examples of bad queries, and even some examples of queries that have garnished some full requests/deals for us.

There will be multiple posts per day, and we don't want you to miss any of it. You can also follow the Twitter Hashtag #QuerySchoolsIn to see each new posting.

Holy Cannoli, I'm bouncing in my computer chair like a kid. I hope the hydraulics hold out.

Good to know the schedule was a good idea. Tomorrow I'll post it in the sidebar and add links as the posts go live.

2PM EST? That's a 5AM Monday wakeup for me.

Ah well, at least I'll be able to cruise the posts at a leisurely pace. Some great things going on there.

I'm looking forward to absorbing as much much as possible in the next few weeks. At my age and I'm going back to school? what have I gotten myself into????
Excited to learn about queries and how to write them. This is for sure my weakest area of writing.

My weakest area is the synopsis. The keeping it short and coherent part.
